So my weight loss goal is 145 pounds.
How did I reach that number? Well...when I first started dieting (at 181.5 pounds), I wanted to lose 50 pounds, and get to around 130. In the end, this was not a realistic goal, as in high school I weighed around 135 or so, so getting to below high school weight just isn't going to happen. I have an ass, and I have big boobs. I have huge hips. I'd be a stick figure at 130.
I plateaued for a long time at 155. I got a wedding dress, and it fit nicely, but it was tight, and I had the dreaded "back cleavage."
Thus, the loss of 10 pounds, enough so that I'd feel better about how I looked in the dress, but not so much that I'd need the dress taken in.
If I make it to 145, I'll be so happy.
So today, there's an article on yahoo about ideal body weight. I did some searching, to see what my ideal weight range is, and the maximum of the range is 144 pounds. WTF?
Does ideal weight mean being bone-thin? Because it sure seems that way based off of these ranges.
