So Fatty (am I allowed to call him that? I don't think he is a fatty!) told me about this group on spark people - its a wiifit challenge or whatever.
And he said Shannon and him and I should do one for ourselves. I think that's a great idea, but I'm terrible at setting goals, so I'm leaving it up to Shannon to set them. They have to be reachable, is all my requirement is. For example, doing 40 minutes 5 days a week on wii fit is not actually obtainable for me.
However, weighing in on wii fit at least 5 days a week, and exercising (with or without wii fit) at least 10 minutes a day 5 days a week is most definitely attainable, and I can even go further than that. But I just dont have 5 * 40 minutes a week right now! However, I can do longer workouts on the weekends - so I could do something like, get at least 3 hours on the wii fit per week.
But I am loving the eliptical, so I think if the Wii Fit time can include outside activity time like eliptical or pilates, than that would be awesome. Does that fit? Or does it have to be only wii fit?
THINK of goals!

Of course you can call me Fatty. :) Anywho, I didn't mean Wii Fit specifically, more-so exercises generically. I don't have a Wii, so unless I head to Chai's it's really hard for me to Wii fit. I was thinking maybe along the lines of distance traveled, whether it be on the treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, whatever. Or something along those lines, maybe closest to ideal calories for the week, stuff like that, just to help keep motivation levels up. I don't know about you, but Chai and I work best if there's a challenge. :)
Oh yeah, that's much easier than sticking to only wii fit!
