I had a decent workout tonight. Good for me, would have only probably been like, 1/5 of what Shannon does when she works out! :) But I'm not used to it, so I've got to build up to it.
WAY too many calories today, at least according to spark people. I ate a panera whole grain bagel with cream cheese, chinese pork fried rice and some general gao's chicken (not a lot though), pears, jello, 5 slices of cheese with 5 crackers, and a thomas bagel with butter, 4 sugarfree cookies, and a bowl of smartfood for dinner. Sparkpeople puts it around 2500 calories. Yuck!
I can't get over the whole feeling bad because I don't use the wii fit as much as I'd like to. But I feel like I'm getting a better workout with the other exercises I'm doing right now. Wish I had more time to do everything. I really need to schedule the time, like I talked about.
And I swear, I don't get my elliptical. I would do about 25 minutes at the gym, on theirs, and not be dying afterwards (I could still do other things after), and I'd burn something like, 160 calories. I do 10 or 12 minutes on mine and get somewhere between 50 and 70 calories, but its like, 10 times harder. I really don't believe the number on the machine, because I'm killing myself. Either mine is wrong, or the gym's is too generous.
Anyway...I did 12 minutes on the elliptical tonight, followed by a 10 minute ab routine on the Pilates DVD, and then I did 2 minutes on my own of punches in the air (imitating the wii fit boxing but I just did my own moves) and then did 20 jacknife crunches.
Oh, and there is this move on the ab video - she lies sideways, raises herself on one elbow, and lifts her body up. That, I can do. But when she removes the bottom leg and uses the top leg to hold herself up, I can't do that. It causes very un-nice things to happen in my crotch region. Not pretty.
