Ok. I decided to go with Spark People since there were already some brand name foods on there. And they give me my daily goals...
Today's foods:
Breakfast was a Thomas Whole Wheat Bagel w/ Philly cream cheese
Lunch was 3 slices of Oscar Meyer low sodium bacon with 2 scrambled eggs w/ skim milk
Dinner was Chili's, but I was so proud of myself for not ordering the usual chicken crispers. Instead, I had the classic sirloin (so tasty) with sides of loaded mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, and a slice of garlic toast.
Drinks today were about 48 oz of diet coke.
3 glasses of water
1 serving of sunflower seeds (in shell) because I was starving late night.
After logging all of this into sparkpeople (i found the nutritional info for Chili's online), my stats were:
Calories: 2176
Carbs: 119
Fat: 142
Protein: 96
According to sparkpeople's goals, I was low on carbs & protein and very high on fat. Seems they push the low fat route instead of the low carb route. So I'm not going to pay attention to that. I'm going to do what Shannon said and watch the calories and work out a ton.
Speaking of that, its on to wii fit now!
EDIT: Did 19 minutes on the wii fit. Weighed in just over 156 pounds. That's with clothes on though, end of day, etc, so I'll figure out weight tomorrow morning on my scale.
Clearly, I need to pay more attention to my calories. I was starving tonight so I chose sunflower seeds over something else but I was already way over calories. This tracking is good, I can really see what I am eating and where my problems lie.
I've set tomorrows foods, at least, during the day to include a bagel, a salad for lunch, grapes and peaches in light syrup, so we'll see how I do. Dinner is to be roasted chicken with probably edamame for a side.
